The San Ysidro Cultural Corridor

In 2018, UC San Diego researchers and students partnered with Casa Familiar to envision activating the historic alleyways of San Ysidro into a network of public spaces via the development of the Cypress Drive alleyways, creating a linear zone that connects vital services in the community and operates as a site for educational and cultural programming.

Urban Rooms, San Jose In 2017, the Center on Global Justice partnered with the City of San Jose and Jose and Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana (MACLA) to design an outdoor civic space in downtown San Jose, funded by ArtPlace America and the National Endowment for the Arts.
