Civic Imagination Series

The Civic Imagination Series is a set of public programs, lectures and workshops that summon the most important voices today in the fields architecture, urbanism, public policy and ethics, including renowned social theorist Richard Sennett; New York Times senior architecture critic, Michael Kimmelman; Former US Secretary of Labor, Robert Reich; and former Mayor of Bogota, Colombia, Antanas Mockus.  This series is often jointly-funded by the CGJ and the UCSD Visual Arts Department, and is complemented by frequent international workshops and tours for institutions of art, architecture and urbanism, eager to learn about our work at the US-Mexico border.
