Civic Innovation Lab, San Diego

From 2012-3, CGJ Directors Fonna Forman and Teddy Cruz served as consultants to the City of San Diego on Civic and Urban Initiatives. Their main task was to design and co-direct the Civic Innovation Lab, an urban think-and-do tank inside the mayor’s office to promote equitable urban growth in San Diego’s underserved neighborhoods, including new civic engagement strategies, public space projects and cross-border urban and environmental projects, in collaboration with the Center on Global Justice. https://www.voiceofsandiego.org/tag/civic-innovation-lab/
